On March 16, 2020, the head of the Association of Polish Banks, Krzysztof Petrashkevich, stated that the organization would recommend (mandate unauthorized) banks to provide their clients with maximum assistance in relation to the coronavirus, especially to those who repay loans. Assistance is basically to delay the repayment of subsequent payments – for three months.
